Setting the dosage To set the correct dosage unscrew the lock nut(4) and then you can move the piston rod(2) backward by revolving it anti-clockwise and forward by revolving it clockwise. After you have adjusted the piston, tighten the lock nut so that the position in held by the syringe.

You can also use a number of feed sources with the help of accessories provided 

• Detachable bottle(23): Fix the bottle on the intake valve(14) of the syringe, fill the vaccine in it and then put the lid on.
• Silicon feed tube(21): Attach one end of the tube on the intake valve(14) and immerse the other in the vaccine jar.
• Feed needle(25): Attach one end of the Silicon tube(21) to the intake valve(14) and other to the feed needle. Then put the feed needle straight inside the rubber sealed vaccine bottle.

Maintenance:

Please clean the Syringe properly by putting it in boiling water before every use. This will clean the Syringe and clear any dust particles which might be blocking the valves and causing difficulty in operating the Syringe easily and smoothly. 

You should repeat the same procedure after every use so that the Syringe valves do not get blocked when the medicine inside it evaporates leaving behind the residue. Besides cleaning the boiling water will also disinfects the Syringe. ( It would be better if you open up the Syringe and then put all its parts in the boiling water as this would result in better cleaning.)

In case the piston of the Syringe is hard to move you can open the syringe and apply a thin layer of edible oil on the black rubber ,which is placed on the piston, this is going to make forward and backward movement of the piston inside the glass barrel very smooth.
